Problem (સમસ્યા)

Click here to read Preamble in Gujarati
I have no problem (!) for declaration of inspiration that I got for any of my stories. Such inspirations are just the initial points for your creations. Once you start from that particular point, the rest, in own way, will come before your imagination. The characters, their characteristics, episodes, dialogues, surrounding situation etc. will make their own space in your creation.

Now, I come to my story of today. But, before that, I won’t hesitate to say that I got inspiration for this story also from a Columnist and many more – Mr. Kanti Bhatt’s article in Gujarat Samaachar under his weekly heading ‘Search Light’. In that particular article, one thing, he had mentioned was to deal with the problems in their circumstantial backgrounds.. An illustration was given to make the writer’s point clear. That’s all. My story took birth and it is for first time before you in this online publication.

My characters of the story are waiting for you. Just start and join with them.

Water- A Child Story (પાણીનું મૂલ્ય)

My aim behind this online publishing is to educate and entertain my Readers. I try my best to feed my articles in variety of topics. Moreover, I keep in mind that my subjects should vary so that the Readers of different ages can have benefits from.

Today, I am going to submit a Child Story in form of a letter or a speech addressed to Primary School level students. The story may look funny, but a very serious problem of water resources has been discussed.

I am thankful to the original writer of this Child Story which is used as my base content; and, that I have happened to pick from my treasure of old collections.

Oppressions (- કે જુલ્મો તેઉના દયામાં ખપે!)

My blog today varies with the publication of a poem. Till now, all my articles were in prose. In my first introductory article ‘About me’, I had mentioned that I have written some Poems and Hykoos also in Gujarati.

Today’s poem is not basically written by me, but it is simply a summarized translation in the free style form of a poem. It is probably a Syrian work which may be in Arabic or it may have originally been written in English as I could not find the source then, but simply the text of it in English anyway. Some change in content at the end has been made to make it a universal one. My articles are not limited to particular group of people and therefore I have taken somewhat liberty in this regard.

Now, to my great delight, I could find the source of the poem in question through surfing on internet and could contact the proper authority. Accordingly, I am thankful to Janab Mustafa Jaffer of Ahlul Bayt Digital Library Project for his role as a middle man between the Author Late Janab Mulla Ashgarali M.M.Jaffer’s son Janab Abbas Jaffer and myself to seek out the consent for the summarized translation of the poem in Gujarati with some change in the content for the purpose mentioned above.

Torture, injustice, harassment, oppression and punishments from the dictatorial or jungle rule to innocent people are universal issues. They are related to entire human kind. How and why should they be separated in the categories of creed, cast, religion or faith? Oppression is the oppression whether it may concern to any individual or a mass; and it should always be condemned.

Now, go to my scanned Gujarati poem attached herewith to share the feelings of despair and hope.
