મારાં હાઈકુ – 3

હાઈકુ ઉપરના મારા અગાઉના આર્ટિકલમાં, હાઈકુના બાહ્ય બંધારણ અને તેનાં લક્ષણો વિષે મેં વિસ્તારથી લખ્યું હતું. હવે, લાંબી વાત ટૂંકી કરતાં હું આ લેખમાં બે વધુ મારાં ગુજરાતી હાઈકુ આપીશ. વળી, મારા અંગ્રેજી વાંચકો માટે એ બંને હાઈકુના અંગ્રેજી અનુવાદ અને સાથે સાથે તેમનું અંગ્રેજીમાં જ વિવેચન પણ આપીશ. પરંતુ, આગળ વધવા પહેલાં હું એક અંગ્રેજી હાઈકુ અહીં આપવા લલચાયો છું, જેણે મારામાં તેના પ્રત્યેનું અનોખું આકર્ષણ જગાડ્યું છે. ચાલો આપણે સાથે મળીને તેનો આનંદ માણીએ.

 

My Haikus (Misc.) – VI [મારાં હાઈકુ (અન્ય)- ૬]

On January 14, 2008, I had posted “My Haikus (Tragic) – V”. In my Preamble therein, I had told my Readers to have some break in cyclic posts of my Haikus. It was my 52nd post and, to be frank, my assurance for ‘more Haikus’ was forgotten by slip of memory. Today, all of a sudden, I recollected it and have great pleasure to publish this Part – VI. Up to Part – V, the total number of my Haikus was 75.

Classification of the Haikus in this post is named as ‘Miscellaneous’. It means that the themes of these Haikus are variable to contents. I have tried here to insert theme-related images in some Haikus wherever it is possible. I hope my Gujarati Readers will enjoy them fully.

My Haikus (Tragic) – V [મારાં હાઈકુ (વિષાદમય) – ૫]

Here below, you will find some more Haikus which represent some word pictures of the soul-mate on death bed or already dead and/or buried in the grave-yard. Some of them represent emotional expressions of husband missing his beloved who has passed away. Some situations and narrations are very touching to the heart, in my opinion, and hope that my Readers will also agree with. Still, I have many Haikus on varioussubjects ready to post, but I wish to have some break. Thus, this post on Haikus is the last, meanwhile, to say.

Now, go further toshare the grief felt by the husband:

ઘોરઘોડિયે
હૂંફમજાની, મળે
સુખનિંદર ! (૫૮) (Grave and cradle)

મરવાટાણે
રડેસૌ, મથે મને
રડાવવાસ્તો ! (૫૯)

ઇલાસ્ટિકશાં
જીવન, ખેંચે–છોડે,
કોટિ તબીબો ! (૬૦)

મૃત્યુશય્યાએ
તું, ખૂબ રડ્યા અમે,
પૂર્ણ સંતોષ ! (૬૧)

ક્રૂર મજાક !
તમે ઓઢીને સૂતાં,
અમે રડતા ! (૬૨)

સજીવન થૈ,
રખે રડી પડો તો !
ખાળું હું અશ્રુ ! (૬૩)

શબવાહિની
વહે શબ, સાથ લૈ
ભાવી મડદાં ! (૬૪)

શી હઠ તવ !
રહ્યાં ઊંચકવાં, ત્યાં
કબર ભણી ! (૬૫)

છ બાય દોઢ
મ્હેલ દિવાલે કાચો,
છત તો પાકી ! (૬૬)

દફન થયાં,
કફન થતા, કાશ !
દટાતાં સાથે ! (૬૭)

સંતતિભાર
ઓઢાડી મુજને, તેં
ઓઢી કબર ! (૬૮)

નાગણસમ
સરકી ગયાં, વધ્યા
અમે કાંચળી ! (૬૯)

ચૂપકીદીથી
પવનલ્હેરસમ
ગયાં સરકી ! (૭૦)

કાળજું કોરે,
તવ યાદ, રાતદિ
બની ભ્રમર ! (૭૧)

કોમળ યાદ
થૈ ન્હોર તીણા, ચીરે
મુજ કાળજું ! (૭૨)

નવલકથા
જીવ્યાં આપણ બેઉ,
અણમુદ્રિત ! (૭૩)

આશિષ તને
અખંડ સૌભાગ્યની,
કઠે, હવે, હા !(૭૪)

તવ યાદનો
પ્રાણવાયુ જીવાડે,
ઠેલે મરણ ! (૭૫)

My Haikus (Humorous) – IV [મારાં હાઈકુ (રમુજી)- ૪]

In my previous posts, I had presented some uncategorized Haikus; but here you will find some more under the category of ‘Humor’. In my opinion, most of them are humorous and subjected on ‘Happy married life’, ‘Marriage customs’, ‘Funny dialogues and satires’, etc.. Here are the word pictures and a very little concentration in reading them may entertain you just as a change after reading my previous posts on heavy subjects.

દૃષ્ટિઘૂંટડા
ભરી, રહ્યાં ખામોશ,
ગળ્યાં શું જિહ્વા! (૨૮)

ઉરેપાલવ,
લાળટપકતી શું!
હવે થ્યાં મોટાં! (૨૯)

દેવુનીપારૂ,
પ્લાસ્ટિક સર્જરીથી

સંસારઘાણી,
વરવધૂ ફેરવે,

તમે શીખવ્યું,

શર્મઘરેણે,
